En una rápida actuación de la Guardia Civil de Almería, que recibía una importante información gracias a la colaboración ciudadana sobre la existencia de una embarcación deportiva que se dedicaba a la pesca del atún rojo de forma ilegal, se ha conseguido la aprehensión de 269,kg de atún rojo (Thunnus thynnus), 17 cañas de pescar y 16 carretes usadas para la pesca de fondo.
Sobre las 17:05 horas los agentes de la Guardia Civil de Almería a bordo de la patrullera “Río Jiloca“, reciben información sobre la existencia de una embarcación que estaría dedicándose a la pesca de atún rojo, especie que actualmente tiene limitada su pesca, estando prohibida dicha actividad sin la correspondiente autorización.
Los agentes se trasladan al puerto de Carboneras donde pudiera encontrarse la embarcación procediendo a la inspección de las embarcaciones deportivas que pudieran verse implicadas en esta actividad, localizando en una de ellas dos atunes rojos pescados ilegalmente.
Una vez trasladados a puerto, los atunes arrojan un peso de 269,kgs, interviniéndose a la vez 17 cañas y 16 carretes usados para la pesca de fondo.
La Guardia Civil levanta las correspondientes actas-denuncias por las infracciones cometidas en la captura ilegal de 28 piezas de atún rojo (Thunnus Thynnus) y por carecer además del correspondiente seguro obligatorio.
