A las 13.00 horas de este 17 de octubre, la ciudad de Almería ha sido designada Capital Española de la Gastronomía para 2019, una aventura que comenzó hace un año, cuando el Ayuntamiento anunció la intención de competir para lograr esta distinción que ya han tenido otras ciudades españolas como León, o andaluzas, como Huelva.
