La Mesa del Ferrocarril ha convocado para el próximo día 9 de noviembre, una manifestación contra el traslado provisional por obras, de la estación de ferrocarril desde la capital a Huércal de Almería.

El traslado está previsto para el día 14, y durará aproximadamente un año, durante el cual habrá que desplazarse a Huércal desde Almería, si bien el resto de almerienses no notaran la diferencia ya que en vez de ir a un lugar, tendrán que hacerlo a otro.

Aunque el PSOE se mostró reació al traslado cuando estaba en la oposición, y exigió como hace al Mesa, que se realizaran unos by-pass que permitieran mantener abierta la Intermodal, ahora defienden que no se puede cambiar el proyecto que fue aprobado en su momento. El PP, que defendía este movimiento provisional, lo argumentaba por una cuestión de ahorro económico y reducción de tiempo en el proyecto, algo que también respaldaron inicialmente los socialistas.
La manifestación será el día 9 de noviembre en la propia Estación Intermodal.
