Lo que cobra de media un pensionista en Almería son 875 euros, pero si es español es de 880, de la Europa de los 15 son 588 euros, en la de los 28 (menos los 15) baja hasta los 533, de la Europa no comunitaria la media es 636, los africanos suben hasta los 801, de centro y sur de América cobran 767, y los mejor pagados son los de Canadá, EEUU y Oceanía que reciben 917, aunque hay un grupo cuya procedencia no consta que reciben 918 euros, y los asiáticos se quedan en los 803 euros.

De los almerienses que cobran pensión como ciudadanos españoles, 45.298 son hombres y 43.607 son mujeres, y de uno no consta el sexo.
