El proyecto EmoCovid está compuesto por investigadores de la Universidad de Almería, UNED Almería, y la Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio, coordinados por el catedrático de Psicología Evolutiva y de la Educación de la UAL, y actualmente director de la UNED Almería, José Jesús Gázquez, y además, a este nuevo reto, se unen investigadores de la Universidad de Murcia, Universidad de León, Hospital Universitario de Burgos, Hospital Universitario Mutua de Tarrasa y la Universidad Autónoma de Chile, y con la colaboración de la Diputación de Almería.

Durante el periodo de confinamiento en la web de EmoCovid www.emocovid.es proponen cada día una actividad dirigida a cada uno de los segmentos de población que constituyen el programa: mayores, menores y ‘guerreros’. Estas actividades están dirigidas a trabajar las emociones y que a través de las sesiones afloren en los participantes sentimientos que les sirvan para crear “su propia ‘vacuna emocional”, ha apuntado María del Carmen Pérez-Fuentes.
