El Grupo Municipal Socialista trasladará al Pleno una reasignación presupuestaria “que posibilite destinar algo más de un millón de euros (1,150 millones en concreto) a partidas que, de manera directa o indirecta, alivien los negativos efectos derivados de la grave crisis sanitaria derivada de la Covid-19”. En el actual contexto socioeconómico, “es necesario que el ayuntamiento promueva obras e inversiones que sean capaces de generar empleo local y reactivar la economía más cercana”. A modo de ejemplo, la Diputación ha puesto en marcha su Plan Acelera que, aunque en presupuesto asignado para cada ayuntamiento puede resultar muy escaso para entidades del tamaño del de Vera, tiene una finalidad interesante como es contratar en exclusiva a autónomos que puedan hacer obras y en los que el 70% del presupuesto vaya a mano de obra.
