En la exposición de motivos de la iniciativa para que el Ejecutivo haga un diagnóstico realista de la situación económica, suscrita por la portavoz del GPP, Cuca Gamarra, el portavoz adjunto y coordinador económico del Grupo, Mario Garcés, y el portavoz de Economía, Miguel Ángel Castellón, se recuerda que el pasado 6 de octubre el Gobierno presentó el cuadro macroeconómico que sirvió de base para los PGE para 2021 que fueron aprobados en diciembre.
“La necesidad de cuadrar un aumento del gasto sin precedentes, 68.500 millones de euros de gasto adicional en 2021 de los que 27.000 millones de euros son con cargo a unos fondos europeos que no sabemos cuándo se van a recibir, y justificar unos ingresos públicos –que si fueran ciertos batirían el récord histórico absoluto de recaudación superando incluso los ingresos previos a la pandemia-, llevaron al Gobierno a presentar un cuadro macroeconómico con unas previsiones totalmente increíbles”, subraya el Grupo Popular.
