Principales inversiones de Adif
En Adif cabe destacar las inversiones realizadas en los núcleos de cercanías de Cataluña, que alcanzaron los 130,7 millones de euros, con actuaciones como la nueva configuración de vías en la estación de Sants (8,3 millones), la implantación del sistema ERTMS y el aumento de la disponibilidad del GSM-R (6 millones), inversión en subestaciones eléctricas (7,2 millones), o la renovación integral entre Maçanet y Caldes de Malavella (1,5 millones). En todo caso, la mayor inversión es la realizada por obras de emergencia para hacer frente a los daños en la infraestructura, muchos de ellos producidos por los distintos temporales sufridos a lo largo del año (80,9 millones).

Por su parte, en las cercanías de Madrid Adif ha invertido en actuaciones por valor de 27 millones de euros, destacando la renovación de vía y electrificación del túnel de Atocha-Recoletos-Chamartín y estación de Recoletos (15,4 millones), la mejora de la estación de Recoletos (2,6 millones), o el proyecto para la mejora de la accesibilidad de la estación de Vicálvaro (2 millones). Adicionalmente a estas inversiones, cabe destacar los 8 millones de euros destinados por Adif AV a la remodelación de la estación de Madrid Chamartín Clara Campoamor.
La inversión en los distintos núcleos de cercanías se completa con un importe de 7,8 millones de euros en las cercanías de la Comunidad Valenciana, 7,8 en las de Asturias y 9,6 en las de Cantabria.

Asimismo, Adif ha dedicado 96,6 millones de euros a la adaptación al ancho estándar del Corredor Mediterráneo (tramo Castellbisbal-Tarragona), y ha realizado actuaciones en el eje Sagunto-Teruel-Zaragoza por importe de 25,2 millones de euros, destacando obras en infraestructura y actuaciones de renovación y de implantación de apartaderos de 750 metros de longitud. En lo que se refiere a Adif AV, el principal volumen de inversión se mantiene en la LAV Madrid-Galicia (Olmedo-Lubián-Ourense) con una ejecución de 277,8 millones de euros, fundamentalmente tanto en obras de plataforma y de implantación de vía, como de electrificación y señalización, lo que ha permitido la puesta en servicio del tramo Zamora-Pedralba de la Pradería en octubre del año pasado.
La LAV de Extremadura ha experimentado un importante impulso en el año 2020, con una inversión total de 140,8 millones de euros. Las actuaciones desarrolladas se centran en la finalización de las obras de implantación de vía y de plataforma en el tramo Plasencia-Cáceres-Mérida-Badajoz, así como la continuación de las obras de señalización y telecomunicaciones.

En lo referente a financiación europea, destaca especialmente que durante el año 2020 se han formalizado 649 millones de euros de ayudas procedentes del FEDER y CEF, frente a los 109,4 millones de euros formalizados en 2019. Destacan el gran Proyecto Red Básica. LAV Madrid-Galicia (Tramo Lubián - Orense. Se han realizado solicitudes de reembolso por valor de 26 millones de euros en Adif Alta Velocidad, principalmente en la LAV Antequera Granada. En cuanto a las solicitudes de reembolso de Adif, han sumado un importe total de 47 millones de euros, destacando los 21,7 millones para la línea Mérida – Puertollano, 12,2 millones a la línea Humanes – Monfragüe, la electrificación de la línea Salamanca-Fuentes de Oñoro por importe de 5,9 millones o la adaptación al tercer carril del tramo Castellbisbal Vilaseca por 4,5 millones.
