En Granada se han realizado 37 muestreos en los 37 puntos censados que se encuentran en 30 zonas de baño de 9 municipios. En la provincia de Huelva, se han realizado 50 muestreos en 50 puntos censados, repartidos en 21 zonas de baño de 9 municipios. Finalmente, en la provincia de Málaga, han sido un total de 97 muestreos en 97 puntos censados, que se encuentran repartidos en 85 zonas de baño de 14 municipios.
En el caso de las zonas de baño continentales, el muestreo se ha llevado a cabo en la Balsa Cela en Lúcar, Almería; en el caso de la provincia de Córdoba, en el Embalse de La Breña II en Almodóvar del Río y en la Presa de la Colada. Por último, en la provincia de Granada se han analizado las aguas de los Embalses de Cubillas en Albolote, Bermejales en Arenas del Rey, Embalse Negratín en Cuevas del Campo y el Manantial de Fuencaliente en los municipios de Huéscar y Orce.
