El Ayuntamiento de Almería ha obtenido la máxima financiación posible por número de habitantes, 250.000 euros, de cara a elaborar proyectos piloto de Planes de Acción Local de la Agenda Urbana Española que incluyen, entre otros programas concretos de movilidad o sostenibilidad, un observatorio urbano o una agenda digital. Una herramienta, esta última, que permitirá al Ayuntamiento contar con el mejor análisis de datos para tomar las mejores decisiones posibles en cada momento y espacio concreto de la ciudad. Todos ellos son proyectos que podrán financiarse con fondos europeos, a través del Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana (Mitma).

Por lo pronto, el Consistorio ha comenzado a adaptar el Plan Estratégico 2030 a la Agenda Urbana Española. Queda ahora abrir un proceso participativo, diálogo y exposición sobre asuntos concretos (mesas vectores) para aquellas cuestiones que deban ampliarse en el marco de esta Agenda y adaptar el Plan de Acción Local con objetivos y proyectos concretos que puedan financiarse con fondos de Europa y que vengan a mejorar cuantitativa y cualitativamente los propuestos para la ciudad.
“La elección de Almería, entre otras ciudades, para elaborar este proyecto piloto de la Agenda Urbana llevará la buena práctica, la experiencia, las propuestas e iniciativas almerienses a otros municipios”, explica la primera teniente de alcalde y concejala de Presidencia, María Vázquez, que apunta cómo para el seguimiento de las actuaciones previstas y como cauce habitual de comunicación, hay una comisión de seguimiento que contará con representantes de la Secretaría General de Agenda Urbana y Vivienda y del propio Ayuntamiento.

Agenda digital

Se logrará así georreferenciar los datos disponibles, se implementará un sistema de gestión que relacione los datos con un lugar geográfico, mediante la actualización de licencias y la implantación de un software especializado. “El objetivo es, por tanto, que Almería lidere y ejerza las competencias en materia de gestión centralizada de la información, incluida la geográfica, de forma que la toma de decisiones municipales sea muy ajustada a las necesidades del municipio, incluso a nivel de barrio, y que la sociedad civil también tenga acceso a los datos que emanen de ese observatorio urbano”, concluye María Vázquez.
