Tal y como explica Francisco Ibáñez el principal objetivo del PP es conseguir que Alboloduy siga creciendo y evitar la despoblación que tanto daño causa a los pequeños municipios del interior de la provincia. Para ello tienen varios objetivos entre los que el turismo ocupa un lugar importante.

La nueva ejecutiva del PP estuvo respaldada por la vicesecretaria general de Almería capital, María Vázquez, y la coordinadora de la Alpujarra, Mati Díaz. Ambas agradecieron tanto a Francisco Ibáñez como a Sonia Guil el importante trabajo que hacen diariamente para que su municipio progrese y recordaron la importancia de tener administraciones aliadas como es el caso de la Diputación de Almería y de la Junta de Andalucía.
María Vázquez señaló que el PP provincial está inmerso en la renovación de las Juntas Locales y en seguir haciendo “familia y partido” sobre todo de cara a los comicios electorales que se celebrarán en los próximos años.

Mati Díaz recordó como el Partido Socialista en la Junta se olvidó de la comarca de la Alpujarra y como desde que Juanma Moreno es presidente del Gobierno Andaluz los problemas de los vecinos alpujarreños se tienen en cuenta y se intentan solucionar como está ocurriendo con la limpieza de los ríos o con obras importantes en la carretera de Alboloduy.
