La consejera de Fomento, Infraestructuras y Ordenación del Territorio, Marifrán Carazo, ha visitado hoy junto con el alcalde de Roquetas de Mar, Gabriel Amat, los trabajos de ampliación de la glorieta que da acceso al centro de esta localidad almeriense desde la carretera A-1051, donde ha anunciado que el buen ritmo de ejecución permitirá concluir la obra antes de Semana Santa. La ampliación de la glorieta ayudará a resolver los problemas generados por el incremento de tráfico en esta vía que conecta Roquetas de Mar y Vícar con la Autovía de Mediterráneo (A-7).

Marifrán Carazo ha destacado la importancia que para el buen desarrollo de esta obra ha tenido la colaboración entre la Junta de Andalucía, la Diputación Provincial de Almería y el Ayuntamiento de Roquetas de Mar: “Hemos trabajado juntos para aunar proyectos y evitar que esta glorieta se convirtiese en un cuello de botella. Esta obra es una muestra más del afán que mueve al nuevo Gobierno andaluz por cooperar con otras administraciones para favorecer proyectos que beneficien a los andaluces y que, en este caso, va a contribuir a mejorar y embellecer de forma notable este acceso a Roquetas, lo que redundará en la mejora de la movilidad en la zona”.
Los trabajos, adjudicados por 373.000 euros a Construcciones Nila, están financiados en un 80 por ciento por los fondos europeos Feder. La obra se inició el pasado 3 de diciembre y aunque el plazo de ejecución inicial es de seis meses, el buen ritmo de los trabajos permite avanzar que la glorieta estará terminada antes de Semana Santa.

Además, se acondicionará el camino existente de entrada a la barriada El Pericho y se reubicará el camino de servicio existente, dándole entrada desde el nuevo vial, al que se accede desde el núcleo de Roquetas por el cementerio o realizando un cambio de sentido en la nueva glorieta de Camino del Cañuelo, situada a 500 metros del enlace.

La obra llevará aparejado un tratamiento paisajístico, mediante la plantación de varias especies, así como la colocación de diferentes tipos de gravas en las glorietas norte y sur del enlace de acceso a Roquetas con el objetivo de mejorar las condiciones ambientales de la zona de actuación.
La carretera A-1051 es una vía de gran capacidad que rodea Roquetas de Mar por el Oeste, reorganizando el tráfico de largo recorrido con destino a las urbanizaciones de Roquetas de Mar sin pasar por los núcleos de población. El enlace situado en el punto kilométrico 6 de dicha autovía, enlaza con la carretera provincial AL-9029, que conecta el núcleo de Roquetas de Mar con el núcleo de Puebla de Vícar (Vícar) y por ella circulan cerca de 5.000 vehículos, con una elevada tasa de vehículos pesados, ya que, además de ser el acceso a Roquetas de Mar, también es la ruta hacia gran número de invernaderos existentes en la zona.

Nuevo Plan General de Ordenación Municipal
Además, la consejera de Fomento y el alcalde han asistido hoy a la constitución de la mesa de trabajo con el Ayuntamiento de Roquetas para impulsar la tramitación del nuevo Plan General de Ordenación Municipal (PGOM) que, conforme a la nueva Ley de Impulso para la Sostenibilidad del Territorio Andaluz (LISTA), será aprobado definitivamente por el Ayuntamiento, sustituyendo al Plan General de Ordenación Urbanística (PGOU) vigente desde 2009.

La mesa de trabajo tiene por finalidad colaborar con el municipio en el proceso de elaboración del nuevo plan durante toda su tramitación. El artículo el artículo 76.3 de la LISTA articula que la administración competente para la tramitación de planes urbanísticos podrá solicitar la colaboración de la Consejería de Fomento en el ejercicio de las funciones de impulso, coordinación y desarrollo de la política general en materia de urbanismo. Las mesas estarán compuestas por personal técnico y jurídico de la Consejería competente en materia de urbanismo y del Ayuntamiento interesado, pudiendo asistir personal de otras administraciones públicas u organismos de la administración de la Junta de Andalucía con participación durante la tramitación del plan. La mesa de trabajo tendrá carácter permanente hasta la completa aprobación del Plan. En Andalucía se han constituido ya 72 mesas de trabajo con corporaciones locales.
