El portavoz de la Mesa del Ferrocarril de Almería, José Carlos Tejada, se ha mostrado indignado ante el anuncio de ADIF de mantener un encuentro con la entidad similar que hay en la provincia de Granada, algo que nunca ha hecho con ellos en todos estos años.

El Ministerio de Transportes Movilidad y Agenda Urbana, ha vuelto a elegir por segunda vez Granada como lugar para presentar los avances que se están produciendo en las obras ferroviarias entre esa provincai y la nuestra, dentro del Corredor Meditaerráneo. Se da la circunstancia de que ha sido convocada la Mesa del Ferrocarril de Granada, mientras que las veces que ha habido algún acto oficial en Almería, la Mesa de nuestra provincia no ha sido invitada.

Tejada ha calificado de "inaceptable" que no sea llamada la Mesa almeriense a ese evento, por cuanto afecta a Almería, por lo que considera que "nuevamente se vuelve a arrinconar a nuestra provincia, y no tiene ninguna intención de sentarse a hablar con nosotros, pese a que hace tres años que lo venimos solicitando".
