La Consejería de Cultura y Patrimonio ha dado a conocer las actividades organizadas durante la Semana Santa en la provincia de Almería, así como durante el mes de abril. Una amplia propuesta que se desarrollará en el conjunto monumental de La Alcazaba, el Museo de Almería, el Archivo Histórico Provincial y la Biblioteca Pública Francisco Villaepesa. Entre las acciones presentadas se encuentran visitas guiadas y teatralizadas, conciertos didácticos, proyecciones en la Filmoteca, artículos, y presentaciones de libros.
La delegada territorial de Cultura y Patrimonio Histórico, Eloísa Cabrera, ha presentado el programa de actos que comenzó el pasado 4 de abril y que tendrá actividades organizadas hasta el próximo día 30. Cabrera ha explicado que “se trata de una serie de propuestas destinadas a todos los públicos durante este mes. Y además hay una serie de actividades especiales aprovechando las vacaciones escolares de Semana Santa”.

En la presentación, la delegada ha dado a conocer la iniciativa “JuntA Cultura Almería”, que nace para aglutinar la oferta de los distintos centros de la Consejería de Cultura en la provincia de Almería durante los diversos meses del año. En esta ocasión ha sido la presentación del mes de abril. Cabrera ha señado que “con esta iniciativa prácticamente todos los días del mes habrá una actividad cultural de la que podrán disfrutar los almerienses.”
La Semana Santa es uno de los mayores exponentes culturales que existen y de ahí la programación especial que se ha organizado para estos días. Desde el Martes Santo, día 12, hasta el Domingo de Resurrección, día 17 de abril, la Alcazaba estará abierta. El enclave arqueológico Puerta de Almería también estará abierto el jueves 13 y el viernes 14. Los Millares, el enclave arqueológico de Villaricos y el Castillo de Vélez Blanco abrirán sus puertas desde el miércoles 13 hasta el domingo 17 de abril. La delegada de Cultura ha resaltado que “todo ello está orientado a disfrutar del patrimonio en nuestra provincia durante la festividad de la Semana de Pasión”.
