Alrededor de 300 corredores de clubes de toda la comunidad andaluza y de deportistas del panorama nacional, se darán cita este próximo domingo en la séptima edición de la Vícar Bárbara, prueba de Mountain Bike que abre la XMC Series Almería 2022 y que es puntuable para el Ranking Andaluz de BTT Maratón. El CD Ecoaventura Vícar, organizador de la prueba, en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento de Vícar, tiene todo a punto para el evento con salida y meta en la Villa de Vícar, y un recorrido de 52 kilómetros por un circular de 52 kilómetros, entre los términos municipales de Vícar y Felix, a los pies de la Sierra de Gádor.
El alcalde de Vícar, Antonio Bonilla, ha destacado el apoyo que desde el Ayuntamiento se brinda a esta prueba ciclista, “dada la importancia que tiene la misma para el municipio de cara a dar a conocer su escenario natural, mostrando la belleza paisajística de parajes como El Tartel, el Peñón de Bernal o la Villa de Vícar, asi como la novedad incorporada este año al recurrido como es el paso por la Calzada Romana”. Además la Vícar Bárbara reúne todos los alicientes para que los corredores disfruten al máximo de su deporte, y a quienes acudan como espectadores el añadido de poder disfrutar de una vistas impresionantes, con la unión de los dos mares, el Mediterráneo y el mar de plástico, en el horizonte..

Este primer reto de las XCM Series Almería 2022 comenzará a rodar en la calle Buena Vista, a las 9,30 de la mañana de forma neutralizada hasta el kilómetro 3, donde se dará la salida lanzada. La organización prevé un punto de cierre de control en el kilómetro 22 a las 11,45 horas. Igualmente se permitirá la participación de eBike, sin efecto para la clasificación ni los trofeos. tomando la salida entre 5 y 10 minutos después del resto de participantes.

Al finalizar la prueba, se llevará a cabo la entrega de trofeos a los tres primeros clasificados de cada categoría convocada, de júnior a máster 60 masculino y femenino. Además, habrá trofeo y obsequio a los tres primeros corredores absolutos en categoría masculina y femenina, así como también se premiará al club más numeroso de entre los participantes.
