Además las calles de la localidad serán escenario del recorrido que tras la misa de mediodía, llevará en procesión las imágenes de San Benito y San José, a hombros de los vecinos. Después será el momento del encuentro familiar y vecinal, en el que se degustarán, como manda la tradición, habas, bacalao y bocadillos, acompañados de vino de la zona y refrescos.

Con la fiesta de San Benito se inicia un calendario de fiestas patronales que durante seis meses recorrerá los distintos núcleos y barriadas del municipio. La próxima cita del calendario lúdico festivo serán las Cruces de Mayo que vienen a coincidir con las de la Virgen Macarena, en Barrio Archilla-Cañada Sebastiana, el 29 y 30 de abril y el 1 de mayo, y a las que darán continuidad del 26 al 29 de mayo las fiestas en honor de San Fernando Rey, en Llanos de Vícar.
Junio será un mes de continuas celebraciones, empezando el día 13 con las de El Cosario y del 16 al 19 de las de la Virgen María, en Puebla de Vícar. En julio, se abre la segunda quincena con las Fiestas del Carmen, en La Gangosa, del 14 al 17 y para el fin de semana siguiente las de San Cirilo en El Parador, para cerrar con las de La Asunción, en Las Cabañuelas, del 28 al 31.

En septiembre, el día 7 la fiesta de La Envía, y del 15 al 18, las del Cristo de la Salud, en la Villa de Vícar y las de Cortijo El Llano, 24 y 25, para cerrar en octubre con la Romería de El Cosario, el día 2. Además, los días 20 de junio y 19 de septiembre serán fiesta local en el municipio.
