Si por algo se ha caracterizado la legislatura a la que le va a poner fin Moreno Bonilla ha sido por, digámoslo así, los olvidos. Los ha habido de todo tipo en este tiempo: los de las ‘medias verdades’, que se han terminado pareciendo mucho a las mentiras, y también los de ‘mejor me callo’, que con el paso de los años no han soportado su propia vergüenza. Sin embargo, los más retorcidos son los que ni siendo una cosa ni otra han recogido lo peor de los dos anteriores; esto es, los que un día fueron promesa y hoy son pasto del olvido, no solo para quien lo prometió, sino también para quien se sintió prometido.
A punto de decir basta, el presidente del Gobierno andaluz se ha permitido el lujo de pasearse por Adra, como lo ha hizo la pasada semana, como si tal cosa, cuando de poco o nada puede alardear en un municipio en el que su aportación ha sido ninguna. En todo caso, elige bien dónde va porque hay lugares en los que su exposición pública queda aún más comprometida. Este es el caso de la comarca del Almanzora, cuya autovía tiene el deshonor de pertenecer al último grupo de los olvidos, esos que duelen con solo nombrarlos.

En los más de tres años que Moreno Bonilla lleva al frente de la Junta, no se ha producido avance alguno en la conexión con Baza. Pese a la gran utilidad que tendría esta infraestructura para el desarrollo económico y el crecimiento de la comarca del Almanzora, el Gobierno de Moreno Bonilla ha dado la espalda a esta obra de la que en su día hizo una pancarta.

En octubre de 2018, el entonces aspirante a sentarse en San Telmo se comprometió a que, cuando fuera presidente de la Junta, se licitarían las obras de la autovía en su primer mes de gobierno. No hizo falta, puesto que se encontró con uno de los últimos tramos licitado, pero lo que sí olvidó pronto es la necesidad que tiene la comarca, expresada por sus vecinos, alcaldes y empresarios, de que esta vía llegue hasta Baza, que es lo que le da verdaderamente sentido.

A la vista de lo ocurrido, solo cabe concluir que el Gobierno de Moreno Bonilla no ha tenido ninguna intención de terminar esta autovía, puesto que ha ido dejando pasar todas y cada una de las posibilidades que se le han presentado, presupuesto tras presupuesto desde 2019, para evitar que se quede en Fines.

Si lo vemos con perspectiva, lo que han hecho PP y Ciudadanos en estos tres años y medio en la provincia de Almería recuerda en cierto modo a lo que le solían hacer en los talleres mecánicos a los coches para lavarles un poco la cara: un repaso de chapa y pintura, pero en cuanto metías la primera, te dabas de bruces con la realidad.
