El Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud, organismo dependiente de la Consejería de Empleo, Formación y Trabajo Autónomo, informa en su web Patio Joven sobre la disponibilidad de plazas en los campos de voluntariado vuvenil que se van a desarrollar en la provincia de Almería, concretamente ‘La Cerrá de Tíjola: un camino de dos mundos’, y ‘Prácticas de conservación y mantenimiento en hábitats de montaña en el Parque Natural Sierra Nevada’, en Abrucena. El plazo de inscripción estará abierto hasta cubrir las plazas ofertadas.
El Campo de Voluntariado ‘La Cerrá de Tíjola: un camino de dos mundos’, se llevará a cabo del 16 al 30 de julio de 2022. Es de carácter nacional y dispone de 20 plazas para jóvenes de 18 a 30 años, de las cuales actualmente quedan 12 libres; la clave de solicitud es la AN-02. El proyecto se centra en la recuperación de un sendero fluvial, mejorando su viabilidad para transitar a pie, señalizando su biodiversidad y los valores de su rico patrimonio geológico. Cuenta con el Ayuntamiento de Tíjola como entidad organizadora.

Este campo de voluntariado juvenil se desarrollará a través de un trabajo grupal dirigido por un equipo de expertos geólogos, biólogos y educadores ambientales, en el que la interacción de los jóvenes participantes con la población rural tendrá un importante papel para la recuperación de tradiciones orales del patrimonio cultural. De este modo se lucha contra el aislamiento de zonas rurales del interior de Andalucía, que ha conllevado la pérdida de lugares emblemáticos como La Cerrá de Tíjola.
En este paraje se pueden observar desde los vestigios fenicios hasta los molinos de agua que suministraban electricidad. Las actuaciones en este sendero suponen, además de la puesta en valor, la recuperación de la memoria local.

Cuenta con 20 plazas para jóvenes de entre 18 y 30 años, de las cuales queda una libre. La entidad organizadora es la cooperativa Natures S. C. A.

Los Campos de Voluntariado Juvenil permiten a jóvenes de diferentes procedencias desarrollar un trabajo de proyección social y actividades complementarias, de manera voluntaria y desinteresada. Estos proyectos fomentan los valores de convivencia, tolerancia, solidaridad, participación y respeto intercultural y las actividades se enmarcan en ámbitos como la intervención social, el patrimonio histórico-artístico y/o cultural, la arqueología y el medio ambiente.
