La Diputación Provincial de Almería ha puesto en marcha otro de los certámenes insignia del Festival Internacional de Cine de Almería, de la XXI edición de FICAL, que se celebrará del 18 al 27 de noviembre de este año: el Concurso de Proyectos de Producción Audiovisual Almerienses. Los creadores almerienses podrán presentar sus propuestas hasta el próximo 17 de agosto.
El Concurso de Proyectos de Producción Audiovisual Almerienses de FICAL llega este año con dos importantes novedades. La primera es que Diputación ha aumentado la cuantía de los premios un 128% en comparación al año pasado al incrementar esta cifra de los 18.000 euros de 2021 a los 41.000 de esta edición.

Por otro lado, se entregará un premio más, de tal manera que el concurso se ha dividido según el formato de las obras en dos categorías y se otorgarán dos premios a proyecto de largometraje y otros dos al proyecto de producción de cortometraje. La distribución de los premios es la siguiente:

El diputado de Cultura y Cine, Manuel Guzmán, ha valorado el incremento económico y en número de premios de este Concurso que, como ha señalado, “seguirá convirtiéndose en un incentivo de la producción de creadores almerienses. En cuanto a las novedades que presenta el Concurso, el diputado ha remarcado que responde “a las consideraciones de miembros del jurado y de la Asociación de Técnicos y Empresas del Sector Audiovisual de Almería, TESA, que nos han transmitido con la finalidad de diferenciar los proyectos entre cortos y largos, ya que los costes de ambos presentan características muy distintas. En cuanto al incremento económico, hemos querido adaptarnos a la realidad que conlleva la producción de proyectos audiovisuales”.

En el concurso podrán participar productoras cinematográficas y/o audiovisuales almerienses, con domicilio fiscal en Almería. Cada productora podrá presentar un máximo de dos proyectos, indicando el nombre de cada uno de ellos en una única solicitud de inscripción.
La convocatoria será tramitada electrónicamente y las solicitudes serán presentadas en el registro de la sede electrónica de Diputación de Almería, siendo obligatorio la utilización de los modelos que figuran anexos en la convocatoria.
