Almería“Sin Ciudadanos, nunca se hubiera desbloqueado el caso de la ‘guardería fantasma’ de Nueva Andalucía”, declaraciones que el portavoz del grupo municipal de Cs, Miguel Cazorla, ha realizado tras la aprobación definitiva de la expropiación forzosa de la parcela número once del Polígono de San Isidro. “Desde que Ciudadanos tiene representación en el Ayuntamiento de Almería, éste ha sido uno de nuestros principales caballos de batalla, tocando puerta por puerta, impulsando reuniones técnicas e incluyendo este asunto en nuestras exigencias presupuestarias”, ha resaltado el edil de la formación liberal.
Asimismo, Cazorla ha tenido palabras de felicitación por su trabajo y esfuerzo a los técnicos y, en definitiva, para todas las partes implicadas porque: “Entre todos se ha conseguido poner a disposición de los almerienses un edificio que nunca se abrió y que era sólo origen de problemas y molestias para los vecinos del barrio”. Tras años de negociaciones, finalmente los 399 titulares reconocidos recibirán sobre los 1.450 euros por propietario.

Si bien, el edil de Cs ha querido argumentar su abstención en la votación de la propuesta elevada al Consejo de Gerencia de Urbanismo al entender que responde a un acto “de honestidad”. Tal y como ha explicado Cazorla: “Tengo varios familiares directos que son titulares del inmueble y yo soy copropietario de una de las viviendas del barrio”. Añadiendo que “considero que la abstención es la opción más cabal porque se podría pensar que existe algún tipo de interés personal y el único interés es el bienestar de los almerienses”.

Para finalizar, Miguel Cazorla le ha dado la enhorabuena tanto a los vecinos de Nueva Almería como a todos los almerienses porque “ya estamos más cerca de destinar este edificio para el uso y disfrute de toda la ciudad”. Concluyendo que se trata de “un paso definitivo para recuperar esta zona abandonada y sucia, consiguiendo su transformación definitiva, convirtiéndolo en un edificio de uso público y social tal y como fue consensuado con los vecinos por Ciudadanos en el 2016”, según ha trasladado el portavoz municipal de Ciudadanos en el Ayuntamiento de Almería.
