Cerca de 400 nadadores participaron ayer en la VII Travesía a Nado, organizada por el Club Natación Pulpí, Brazadas Solidarias, Diputación de Almería y Ayuntamiento de Pulpí en beneficio de la Fundación Vicente Ferrer
Desde primera hora de ayer domingo, 7 de agosto, en la playa “Mar Serena” de San Juan de los Terreros, se fueron congregando todos los inscritos para esta VII Edición, en la que este año han participado deportistas de clubs de toda Andalucía, Murcia, Comunidad Valenciana, así como de toda la geografía española incluso deportista internacionales, representando a diferentes clubs de toda España como (Sopela Igeriketa Swin de Bizkaia, Club Marina de Ferrol de La Coruña , club natación menditxo desde Vitoria, C. Valdemoro, CN Melilla, CN Carmona, CN Badalona, moralzarzal, Chamartín, Club Triatlón Huelva, triatlón Chiclana, CN Almansa, CN Albacete, Club Natación igualada, Cuenca, Race Natación Madrid, Bahía de Málaga , y deportistas internacionales venidos desde Colchester (Inglaterra), Dublín (Irlanda), Bruselas (Bélgica), Berlín (Alemania).

La travesía contó con 4 distancias diferentes, adaptándose cada una de ellas al nivel del nadador, la Travesía Reina (4,5km), la Travesía popular (1,5km), la Travesía para los más profesionales (6km), y la Travesía de promoción a la natación para los más pequeños (300m).
El alcalde de Pulpí, Juan Pedro García, y la concejala de Deportes, María del Mar Sánchez, fueron los encargados de colocar las medallas de participación a cada uno de los nadadores en su llegada a meta, así como de hacer entrega de los trofeos a los primeros clasificados de cada categoría al finalizar la Travesía.
