El Ayuntamiento de Dalías celebraba ayer jueves sesión extraordinaria de Pleno en la que el punto más destacado estaba destinado a los presupuestos municipales correspondientes al año 2022, que ascienden a algo más de siete millones de euros, lo que “nos permitirá ajustar y regularizar la situación económica del municipio a la dura realidad actual para poder ir saneando las deudas y adaptarnos a ellas para hacer la gestión municipal de la forma más adecuada a esta situación en beneficio de nuestros vecinos”, señala el alcalde de Dalías, Francisco Lirola.

En este sentido, los presupuestos incluyen una deuda por la compra de un solar que, según el regidor, “venimos arrastrando desde hace años, con sus correspondientes intereses de demora y que ya va por más de tres millones de euros. Nosotros no podemos mirar hacia otro lado ni continuar echando balones fuera, porque cada mes que pasa nos cuesta más dinero a todos y cada uno de los vecinos, pasando la deuda de un millón a más de tres millones por este motivo, por lo que tenemos que atajarla de inmediato para parar esa lacra económica que consume nuestro presupuesto, y poner los cimientos para destinar los recursos por y para los vecinos de Dalías y Celín”.
El equipo de Gobierno asegura haber elaborado unos presupuestos de urgencia con el objetivo de paralizar la deuda y “hacer frente a los problemas que se han venido generando, una deuda que nunca se incorporó con anterioridad a los presupuestos”.

Aun así, se ha conseguido hacer un presupuesto “realista”, reduciendo el presupuesto ordinario en 14.000 euros con respecto al ejercicio anterior y se incluyen inversiones en infraestructuras municipales y en Turismo, “la elaboración del presupuesto ha coincidido con los trabajos de elaboración de las cuentas generales de 2020, ya aprobada, y de 2021, aún en elaboración, que tampoco ha sido presentada por el anterior equipo de Gobierno, lo que está suponiendo un enorme esfuerzo en las áreas de Secretaria-Intervención, Contabilidad y Hacienda para poner al día las cuentas municipales, a los que hemos ofrecido nuestra colaboración y apoyo”.

Con todo esto, “hemos conseguido aprobar, con el apoyo de todos los grupos municipales, a excepción de IU que se ha abstenido, unos presupuestos reales y austeros, pero que nos permitirán avanzar con una mejor gestión del municipio y la puesta en marcha de inversiones, servicios, subvenciones al tejido asociativo y otras iniciativas, mirando siempre por el bienestar de nuestros vecinos”, concluye Lirola.
