El delegado de Agricultura, Pesca, Agua y Desarrollo Rural, Antonio Mena, ha asegurado que “una vez finalizado el periodo de alegaciones y subsanaciones de errores se estima que 800 nuevos agricultores se habrán incorporado al campo almeriense desde el año 2018 gracias a las líneas de ayudas del Gobierno andaluz, frente a los 146 que se incorporaron durante la etapa anterior”. De esta forma, Mena ha detallado que “las cifras son contundentes y mientras en el Programa de Desarrollo Rural 2014-2020 se aprobaron 130 millones de euros, a éste mismo PDR se han añadido 162 millones de euros para jóvenes agricultores, incluidos los 80 millones extraordinarios”.
Tal y como ha explicado el delegado, “estamos trabajando de una forma clara y contundente desde la Consejería de Agricultura para desarrollar y ejecutar todas las líneas de ayudas puestas en marcha para llegar al mayor número posible de nuevos jóvenes incorporados al campo”.
Mena Rubio ha destacado que “el proceso de concesión de estas ayudas es un ejemplo del esfuerzo que realiza el personal de la Consejería para acortar, en la medida de lo posible, los trámites administrativos”. Por esta razón, ha asegurado que en la actualidad y tras la modificación reglamentaria llevada a cabo por el Gobierno andaluz, el mismo día que entregamos la resolución, se hace el ingreso a su cuenta de un 25% del adelanto concedido”. Para este año 2022, el delegado ha explicado que se ha incrementado además la cantidad máxima hasta los 90.000 euros.

Para finalizar el delegado ha recordado que “el Gobierno andaluz viene desarrollando diferentes medidas fiscales que beneficien a los agricultores y que pese a la pandemia y al incremento de las solicitudes, se ha reducido el plazo de resolución”.
