Los municipios de Líjar y Albanchez están mejorando sus servicios e infraestructuras municipales gracias a las inversiones de la Diputación de Almería. La Institución Provincial ha aprobado en Junta de Gobierno un paquete de inversiones para estos dos municipios que van a permitir la ejecución de un Almacén Municipal, así como la prolongación de una de las principales arterias viarias de Albanchez.

El diputado provincial de Fomento, Antonio J. Rodríguez, ha resaltado que ya se han adjudicado sendas obras que van a repercutir directamente en el bienestar de ambos municipios: “Los Planes Provinciales son fundamentales para los municipios de la provincia porque les permite la ejecución de proyectos que, en solitario, serían muy difíciles de asumir y que mejoran la calidad de vida e igualan servicios y oportunidades a los almerienses”.
En el caso de Líjar, el proyecto va a consistir en la ejecución de una nave municipal con aseos adaptados. Una edificación que contará de una zona de entrada, aseos, cuarto de limpieza y una zona de almacenaje a medida de las necesidades del Ayuntamiento. Parte de la parcela quedará libre como espacio público y estará delimitado por una valla de falsa fachada que siga con las alineaciones del entorno. Esta actuación contará con una inversión valorada en 220.000 euros con cargo a los Planes Provinciales de la Institución Provincial.

Además, tanto Líjar como Albanchez han recibido inversiones y ayudas promovidas por el Área de Presidencia. En el caso de Albanchez, se han financiado los trabajos del Acueducto ‘Arcos de la Rambla del Pozo’ que han puesto en valor un bien que podría datar de la Época Moderna y que se ha erigido como el principal monumento del municipio. Las actuaciones constan de la instalación de un andamio, los trabajos para asegurar el bloque de mampostería, la inserción de barras de fibra de vidrio para reforzar la estructura y el embellecimiento de los trabajos para que recupere su aspecto original.
Por otro lado, el municipio de Líjar ha sido uno de los 15 municipios que se han beneficiado de la II edición de Barredoras y Dumpers. En concreto, el municipio recibió una barredora adaptada especialmente a la orografía y las calles de este municipio para garantizar el servicio de limpieza en todo el municipio. Este Plan ha constado de 500.000 euros de inversión.
