El pasado 15 de enero, agentes del Destacamento de Tráfico de Almería, han investigado a un residente de Roquetas de Mar como presunto autor de un delito contra la seguridad vial, por conducir un vehículo a motor en sentido contrario al estipulado en autovía y excediendo ampliamente los límites de alcohol establecidos legalmente, al arrojar una tasa de 1.05 mg/l siendo el límite legal 0.25 mg/l. Los hechos han sucedido entre el km 800 de la autovía A-7 y el km 792 entre las localidades de Roquetas de Mar y la capital almeriense.

Fueron varios los usuarios de la carretera los que alertaron al teléfono de emergencias 112 de dicha incidencia. Algunos, teniendo que maniobrar bruscamente para evitar la colisión. En el dispositivo de detención del vehículo intervinieron 2 patrullas del Destacamento de Tráfico de Almería.

Se instruyen diligencias remitidas al Juzgado de Instrucción nº 5 de Almería, no obstante, permanece abierta la investigación por una posible implicación de dicho conductor en un siniestro previo a éstos hechos.
