La Central Sindical Independiente y de Funcionarios, CSIF Almería, ha sido reelegido máximo representante de la Junta de Personal Docente no universitario de la provincia de Almería por el resto de sindicatos. De esta manera, la central sindical vuelve a asumir la secretaría y la presidencia del órgano de representación de los docentes de la función pública en la provincia hasta el año 2026, con un respaldo unánime del resto de sindicatos. Actualmente, la Junta de Personal está conformada por siete sindicatos, repartidos en 43 miembros, que fueron elegidos en las pasadas elecciones, celebradas en el mes de diciembre, y en la que CSIF tiene un total de 12 delegados.

El presidente de la Junta de Personal es el delegado de CSIF, Pedro Fernández y el secretario, Juan Francisco Caballero, actual responsable de Educación de CSIF Almería. “Asumimos con entusiasmo la confianza depositada por parte del resto de organizaciones sindicales para mejorar el día a día de los docentes de la provincia. Las funciones de la Junta de Personal se centran fundamentalmente en la recepción de información sobre la política de personal, así como sobre los datos referentes a la evolución de las retribuciones, evolución probable del empleo en el ámbito correspondiente y programas de mejora del rendimiento. Por otro lado, otro de sus fines es instar a la Consejería de Educación para que ejecute actuaciones o estudios, relacionados con el ámbito de sus competencias, mediante propuestas de resolución acordadas en Pleno, entre otras.
