El portavoz de VOX en el Ayuntamiento de Almería y candidato a la Alcaldía, Juan Francisco Rojas, se pregunta si el equipo gobierno tiene claro qué hacer con El Paseo de Almería. “Llevamos más de cinco modificaciones en tres años. Primero instalan un carril bici que luego eliminaron. Después crearon un carril saludable que nadie entendió y mientras ponen y quitan maceteros según el mes e instalan paneles expositores que aparecen y desaparecen a voluntad”, indica el portavoz.

Desde VOX Almería ya se avisó en diciembre de 2021 de la necesidad de un carril para emergencias en el paseo y lamenta el tiempo transcurrido hasta su instalación: “El Paseo de Almería es un ejemplo de la acumulación de errores de un equipo de gobierno que no tiene claro qué hacer y va improvisando”, ha afirmado Rojas.
Para VOX Almería, desde que se instaló el diseño propuesto por el equipo de gobierno municipal en agosto de 2020 comenzaron los problemas: “Asistimos diariamente al embotellamiento de la principal arteria de la ciudad, soportando atascos continuos, que provocan la desesperación de conductores, comerciantes y el caos del tráfico rodado en nuestra ciudad”.

VOX Almería espera que el equipo de gobierno dé marcha atrás y vuelva a recuperar el paseo original que no generaba tanto caos ni tanta polémica: “Creemos que es necesario recuperar el tránsito normal en ambas vías de la principal arteria de la ciudad”, finaliza Rojas.
