El Área de Gestión Sanitaria Norte de Almería lleva a cabo la formación práctica de los ciclos formativos de: Técnico en Cuidados Auxiliares de Enfermería, Radiodiagnóstico, Anatomía Patológica, Laboratorio, Farmacia, Informática y Documentación Clínica.
Estas prácticas completan la formación laboral del alumnado mediante la capacitación profesional que no se puede adquirir en el centro docente. El aprendizaje teórico de estos alumnos es tutelado por profesores del instituto; mientras que serán los profesionales del Área de Gestión Sanitaria Norte de Almería los encargados de tutelar la realización de las prácticas en las distintas áreas y servicios del centro.

El trabajo en el Hospital La Inmaculada permitirá al alumnado conocer la organización de los servicios sanitarios y profundizar en el conjunto de competencias profesionales propias de su perfil en el ámbito de un centro hospitalario, a fin de facilitar su futura inserción profesional. Los alumnos realizan prácticas, que serán evaluadas conjuntamente por el hospital y el centro docente.
