El Ayuntamiento de Níjar ha entregado hoy los distintivos de Calidad Turística en Destino a las empresas y establecimientos distinguidos por este sistema de calidad nacional, que depende de la Secretaría de Estado de Turismo y que consiste en un plan de mejora continuo y auditado anualmente. Níjar cuenta con más de sesenta entidades adheridas, treinta y nueve distintivos se incorporan este año, de los que cinco corresponden a establecimientos municipales. El último sello de calidad que recibe el Ayuntamiento de Níjar ha sido para el Centro de Artes Escénicas de Níjar (CAE), lugar donde se ha celebrado el acto presidido por la alcaldesa, Esperanza Pérez Felices. El CAE es un Bien de Interés Cultural multifuncional con espacios arquitectónicos que se ha convertido en una seña de identidad de Níjar.
Las personas y entidades que distinguen sus servicios profesionales con el sello de Calidad Turística en Destino deben cumplir unos parámetros legislativos y cualitativos, atender una formación y, a partir de su primera auditoría de seguimiento, participar en un Plan de Mejora. El Ayuntamiento de Níjar pone a su disposición la formación y consultoría para mantener y mejorar esas exigencias de calidad que más tarde son auditados por inspectores de la Delegación de Turismo de la Junta de Andalucía que, a su vez, envían sus informes al Comité Nacional de Distinción.

De las más de sesenta empresas adheridas en Níjar al Sistema de calidad, son treinta y nueve distintivos los que han salido del último Comité Nacional de Distinción y que esta mañana han sido entregados en un acto en el que se ha dado cuenta de las quince renovaciones, trece auditorías de seguimiento y once nuevas distinciones.
Tras la entrega de las distinciones, los asistentes han visionado un vídeo dedicado a la Calidad Turística en Níjar que ha dado pie a un enriquecedor intercambio impresiones con los miembros del equipo de gobierno de Esperanza Pérez. La alcaldesa ha remarcado que “este sistema de calidad es un trabajo conjunto del que Níjar sale fortalecido. Lo consideramos una auténtica apuesta por la excelencia, y por ello se extiende no sólo a todas las poblaciones, sino que abarca alojamientos, turismo activo, comercio, gastronomía, artesanía, centros de estética y un sinfín de servicios. Desde el Ayuntamiento apoyamos con una promoción explícita a los establecimientos distinguidos porque sabemos el esfuerzo que supone ese constante trabajo de mejora”. La primera edil ha aprovechado el encuentro para informar de que en marzo dará comienzo el curso de formación 2023, así como la campaña de captación de nuevas incorporaciones al Sistema de Implantación de Calidad Turística en Destino (SICTED).
