Valverde destaca que la moción socialista, aprobada por unanimidad, ha puesto el foco en un grave problema “que lleva demasiados años sin solucionarse”
La portavoz del PSOE en el Ayuntamiento de Almería, Adriana Valverde, ha destacado que la moción del Grupo Socialista en la que solicitaba a instar a la Junta a ejecutar de forma urgente el proyecto de agrupación de vertidos y depuración en Cabo de Gata, La Fabriquilla y La Almadraba “ha contribuido a poner el foco en un grave problema que presentan esos núcleos de población y que aún hoy está sin resolver”.

Adriana Valverde, quien ha valorado que la moción haya salido adelante por unanimidad, ha resaltado que gracias a la iniciativa socialista “hoy hemos podido saber que por fin está la redacción del proyecto terminada”, ya que el Grupo Socialista se ha interesado en varias ocasiones por este asunto y hasta hoy no había recibido respuesta por parte del equipo de Gobierno.
Durante su intervención, ha afeado al PP que en su día, cuando se firmó el convenio entre la Junta de Andalucía y el Ayuntamiento de Almería para llevar a cabo esta actuación, “el presidente Moreno Bonilla dijera que los trabajos se iban a iniciar en 2021, porque faltó a la verdad”. “Si la redacción del proyecto está terminada ahora aún queda bastante tiempo hasta que podamos ver las obras”, ha considerado Valverde, que ha reprochado al PP “que le haya generado a los vecinos unas expectativas que no se corresponden a la verdad sobre el inicio de los trabajos para acabar con los pozos negros y fosas sépticas en sus viviendas”.

Sobre la segunda moción presentada por el Grupo Socialista en el Pleno celebrado hoy, la portavoz socialista también se ha congratulado por que haya salido adelante por unanimidad. Se trataba de una iniciativa para mejorar las conexiones aéreas con Madrid y Barcelona, tanto en frecuencias como en precios.
Valverde ha detallado que “todos los grupos han respaldado instar al Gobierno de España a declarar las Obligaciones de Servicio Público para las rutas aéreas Almería-Madrid y Almería-Barcelona e instar a la Junta de Andalucía a que financie dicho servicio, tal y como hace la Junta de Extremadura en el caso de los vuelos de Badajoz con Madrid y Barcelona”.

El objetivo que se persigue desde el Grupo Socialista es que el Ayuntamiento dé traslado esta petición al Gobierno de España y a la Junta de Andalucía para que, mientras se realizan las obras del AVE, cuya puesta en marcha está prevista para el año 2026, “tengamos unas conexiones aéreas estables y adecuadas, tanto con Madrid como con Barcelona a lo largo de todo el año”.
