En ese sentido, el concejal de Ciudadanos ha subrayado que la remunicipalización supondría "el ahorro del IVA y del beneficio industrial que, lógicamente, debe existir para que tenga sentido la licitación". Durante la rueda de prensa, Rafa Burgos se ha referido al resto de servicios municipales que actualmente se encuentran concesionados con empresas. "Somos un partido liberal, y no tenemos nada en contra de que las empresas privadas participen en la prestación de servicios públicos, siempre y cuando ello suponga reducir costes al contribuyente al tiempo que se garantiza un servicio óptimo", ha afirmado, recordando que "como ya hemos dicho en otras ocasiones, lo que sí queremos hacer, en caso de entrar en el gobierno tras las próximas elecciones, es realizar auditorías externas a cada uno de esos servicios (limpieza viaria, recogida de basura, mantenimiento de zonas verdes, etc.) para detectar posibles fallos y poner sobre la mesa las soluciones adecuadas para solventarlos", ha sentenciado.
