Olivia Zamora y Francisca Rosa Jiménez serán a partir de este sábado las caras visibles de la Asociación ‘Alma y Vida’, un nuevo proyecto que se inicia en Almería para ayudar en el duelo a padres, madres y familiares afectados por la pérdida de un hijo o una hija. Un vacío que llenar en el que el Ayuntamiento de Almería, a través del Área de Familia, Igualdad y Participación Ciudadana, va a colaborar con la cesión de un espacio dentro de las instalaciones del Espacio ALMA, como así ha comprometido hoy la concejala de Familia, Igualdad y Participación Ciudadana, Paola Laynez.
La presentación de la Asociación ‘Alma y Vida’’ será este sábado, 6 de mayo, a las 10.30 horas, en el salón de actos del Espacio Alma, en un acto que contará con la asistencia de representantes de este colectivo en toda Andalucía y colectivos almerienses que se han comprometido a colaborar con este proyecto, caso de la Asociación el Teléfono de la Esperanza, El Timón, representantes de Colegios Profesionales de Psicólogos, de Enfermería, la Facultad de Psicología y de Enfermería de la Universidad de Almería, el Hospital Universitario de Torrecárdenas y de la Asociación Alcora, en ayuda del duelo perinatal.

El proyecto Alma y Vida está dirigido “a padres y madres en situación de duelo por la pérdida de un hijo y estará atendido por profesionales formados y con experiencia en la gestión del duelo, que de manera voluntaria y altruista colaboraran con los distintos grupos de familias que se vayan creando. El Ayuntamiento de Almería pondrá los recursos necesarios y posibles para que puedan reunirse y encontrar ese espacio tan importante de auto ayuda que se va a crear con el objetivo de acompañar, apoyar y ayudar en el proceso de duelo”, ha resumido Laynez en rueda de prensa.
La edil popular ha querido subrayar el apoyo municipal a esta iniciativa “en la obligación como administración de cubrir las necesidades que vamos detectando. No podemos obviar que la situación de duelo por la pérdida de un ser querido es algo que, tarde o temprano, todos tenemos que afrontar. Pero hay un duelo que difícilmente podemos entender y es el que tienen que afrontar los padres ante la pérdida de un hijo. Es ahí donde nace ‘Alma y Vida’, de la mano de una madre como Olivia, extendiendo ahora también la presencia de esta asociación en Almería”.

“Desde el Ayuntamiento hemos impulsado y apoyado la creación de la sede en Almería, contando con familias que están pasando por ésta situación. Se trata ahora de darles visibilidad, porque es muy importante que todas las familias afectadas tengan conocimiento de ésta ayuda que se va a ofrecer para que llegue a todos los que la necesitan”, ha explicado Laynez, animando a participar del acto del presentación del próxima sábado que se celebrará en el Espacio ALMA.

“El dolor es parte de tu vida”
Cuando hace veinte meses Olivia Zamora perdía a su hija Irene, con apenas 19 años, después de un proceso oncológico, “se rompe el futuro y toca superar barreras. El dolor se convierte en parte de tu vida. Un proceso en que aparece gente que te apoya, que te rodea...una sociedad que te obliga a una recuperación inmediata...y eso no es fácil”, explicaba esta enfermera que impulsa ahora la nueva asociación, “agradecida” de haber encontrado en este “duro” camino a “padres y madres que, viviendo un proceso tan doloroso como es el del duelo, te escuchan y no juzgan. ‘Alma y Vida’ es eso y tenía que estar también en Almería”, relataba una emocionada madre “agradecida” del apoyo municipal a esta iniciativa.

Francisca Rosa Jiménez, también enfermera y coordinadora del proyecto, ha hecho hincapié en la necesidad, como sociedad, “de empezar a hablar de temas que están ahí y que no nos gustan: el tema de la muerte, el sufrimiento...dotarnos de esa caja de herramientas que, en algún momento de la vida, vamos a tener que utilizar”, ha explicado, abogando con ello a “sensibilizar y concienciar a la población respecto del sufrimiento y el dolor”.
