Ruta Circular De 11 Kilómetros Para Conocer Los Bellos Paisajes De Sierra Parda
El Programa de Senderismo de Vícar afronta este domingo, día 7, una nueva ruta, esta vez para conocer uno de los paisajes más entrañables de la provincia de Málaga, que guarda uno de los saltos de agua más grandes de la provincia de Málaga, el Salto de la Rejía, en Tolox, con una caída de 67 metros. Durante la excursión los senderistas rodearán la cabecera del río de los Caballos, que lo conforman tres arroyos principales, el Palmarejo, Horcajuelos y la Rejía, y cruzarán sus vegas, situadas a los pies de Sierra Parda, dentro de los límites de la Sierra de las Nieves, reserva de la Biosfera.

La ruta lineal de esta nueva salida, de unas cinco horas de duración y unos 13 kilómetros de longitud, tiene un desnivel de 600 metros, una dificultad media y servirá a los excursionistas para conocer paisajes de gran belleza y desconocidos para muchos. Durante la ruta pasarán por algunos tramos con una altura considerable, no apta para personas con vértigo.
El Programa de Senderismo ha contado este año con un total de trece salidas regulares, que comenzaron el pasado 9 de octubre con un recorrido por las lagunas de Sierra Nevada y que concluirá el 21 de mayo del año próximo con una ruta por el cauce del Rio Rebollón, en el Parque Natural de las Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama.

Tanto el alcalde de Vícar, Antonio Bonilla, como la concejala de Deportes, Vanesa Lidueña, animan a los aficionados al senderismo y a los que aún no lo han practicado nuca a que se sumen a estas actividades, en un programa, que edición tras edición, se viene desarrollando con éxito, lo que ha contribuido a su consolidación como uno de los más participativos de cuantos se desarrollan desde el Ayuntamiento de Vícar.

Las inscripciones se pueden realizar en la Casa de la Juventud y el Deporte, de lunes a viernes, de 8 a 15 horas, debiendo cumplimentarse en la cuenta 2013 5980 97 0460000014, de Unicaja indicando el número de la jornada de senderismo, en este caso el 6, e indicando el nombre y apellidos de la persona inscrita y la fecha de la actividad.
