El Centro de Interpretación de la Agricultura 'Molino del Lugar' ha reabierto sus puertas durante este lunes y martes, en las jornadas organizadas por el Ayuntamiento para que los vecinos y vecinas conociesen este especio que, tras las obras de remodelación y modernización recibidas, cuenta ahora con un total de cuatro salas llenas de información, tecnología y juegos de luz e imagen, para hacer atractiva y visual la historia de la agricultura en Adra.

Este museo ha sido transformado sin perder su esencia, convirtiéndose en el Centro de Interpretación de la Agricultura, un lugar que recoge el pasado, presente y futuro de uno de los sectores claves de la ciudad milenaria. El museo conserva las piezas existentes, combinadas con pantallas táctiles e interactivas así como hologramas, que refuerzan la información de una manera más moderna y tecnológica. El edificio es ahora más accesible para las personas con movilidad reducida, además se le ha dado más provecho al espacio con la recuperación de dos salas de la parte baja del edificio que se encontraban en desuso para llenarlas de contenido relacionado con la agricultura.
Cientos de personas han visitado este nuevo Centro de Interpretación de la Agricultura durante estas jornadas de puertas abiertas. Entre los asistentes a estas jornadas, también ha acudido el alcalde, Manuel Cortés, acompañado por concejales de su equipo de Gobierno, que también han podido comprobar el resultado de las obras realizadas.

Un recorrido por el espacio
La ‘Sala de la Molienda’ es el primero de los espacios que el visitante puede conocer durante la visita. La zona principal de la sala la ocupa la antigua maquinaria y sobre la pared trasera está presente un videomapping que explica, a través de animaciones y documentales, cómo funcionaba el molino en su momento fundacional. Luego, el recorrido continúa por distintas salas completamente paneladas que cuentan el ciclo del cereal.

Las dos salas de la planta baja del molino están dedicadas a interpretar la agricultura en la localidad de Adra, desde sus orígenes hasta la actualidad, contando ambas salas con panelado gráfico, iluminación LED, recursos holográficos y una mesa audiovisual interactiva. Asimismo, se ha instalado climatización en el centro, así como una rampa de acceso para personas con diversidad funcional y movilidad reducida. Igualmente, el centro cuenta ahora con sistema de videovigilancia.
