Este sistema funciona en los países anglosajones, pero con una diferencia radical, su sistema electoral es mayoritario uninominal, el país se divide en tantas circunscripciones como escaños a elegir, teniendo en cuenta que en cada circunscripción se elige solo al diputado que tiene mayor número de votos. En mi opinión como liberal convencido, lo importante es la libertad personal y el modelo que permite desarrollar esta libertad, es el óptimo. Tanto la libertad del elector por conocimiento más exhaustivo de la persona que los pretende representar, con la distribución de escaños, tantos como circunscripciones electorales. Y libertad de los candidatos y miembros de los partidos políticos, aunque tengan mayor sintonía con el partido que representan, deben tener la libertad absolutamente necesaria para expresar su disenso en los temas que así consideren.
