Hay futuro en el flamenco de Almería. Y brillante. La Plaza del Santísimo Cristo de la Buena Muerte, situada entre la Subdelegación de Defensa en Almería de la calle General Luque y la parroquia de San Juan Evangelista, fue escenario ayer de la segunda de las cuatro citas de Plazeando, con el grupo ‘Jóvenes Flamencos del Morato’, la iniciativa que lidera y coordina el guitarrista Antonio de Quero, que ayer permitió disfrutar del cante de Rafa Amador, Santiago Fernández, María del Molinero, Celia Ortega, María Padilla y Lucía López, con Aldara Cruz al baile. A la percusión estuvo Moisés Santiago. Recogieron así el testigo de José López, que inauguró la pasada semana en la plaza Pablo Cazard este ciclo, que cuenta con la coordinación artística de Jesús Fernández, que el Área de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Almería organiza en el marco de la programación oficial del 56º Festival de Flamenco y Danza.

Tras la siempre atinada presentación del periodista Luis García Yepes, el público que llenó la plaza pudo disfrutar y comprobar de primera mano la ilusión y las ganas del elenco de jóvenes, que suplieron con esa fuerza que da la juventud la falta de experiencia de los grandes cantaores, sin que importara que sus aportaciones y ejecuciones fueran menos ortodoxas. Las sonrisas, la energía, la felicidad de los presentes de ver el escenario repleto de jóvenes promesas pudo con todo y casi toda la velada fue un constante vitoreo de aplausos y oles, mientras que los teléfonos móviles no paraban de grabar.
La velada tuvo momentos para la integración coral y para el lucimiento como solistas. De esta forma, el grupo al completo interpretó varios temas como la conocida “Catalina”, los tangos arrumbados de Manuel Vallejo, pasando por otra suerte de tangos, esta vez ‘los de la Sultana’ de Camarón, pasando por ‘Alhambra’ de Estrella Morente o una fusión de las visiones de ‘La Leyenda del Tiempo’ de Camarón y Enrique Morente. Grandes versiones de cantaores magistrales, donde no podía faltar un homenaje a la tierra, que llegaría con unos fandangos de Almería de Pepe Sorroche.

Tras el calentamiento de las gargantas y ya con el público entregado, llegó el momento del lucimiento individual. Lucía López se lanzó con valentía a un palo cabal y siempre exigente como las seguiriyas, María del Molinero se hizo una flamenca revisión de “A Tu Vera”, Santiaguillo Fernández atacó por fandangos naturales para algarabía del público, Rafa Amador combinó la malagueña con el abandolao de Almería, mientras que Celia Ortega cerró por peteneras de Almería. En cuanto al baile, Aldara Cruz brindó un sobrio taranto y unas melosas alegrías para dar como resultado el fin de fiestas habitual por bulerías improvisadas de todos, cierre de una ilusionante noche de flamenco.
