En concreto, se ha licitado una importante obra de rehabilitación de la Casa Consistorial de Vera por una inversión total de 520.000 euros. Con esta actuación se pretende la reforma y rehabilitación para mejorar las dependencias del Ayuntamiento de Vera ya existentes y adaptar ciertos espacios a nuevos usos demandados.

En fachada de patio interior, se procederá al picado de paramentos y saneado y limpieza de elementos de piedra, además de colocación de zócalo para aireación de humedad de capilaridad, previo tratamiento de paramentos; así como el desmontado y sustitución de carpinterías de madera en puertas de paso; pintura; reposición de falsos techos.
También se acometerá una nueva instalación de electricidad, climatización, y fontanería, esta última en el nuevo núcleo de aseos; y se colocará un nuevo suelo de ladrillo macizo en el patio, y microcemento en dependencias de planta baja.

En planta primera se demolerá la cubierta con una ocupación parcial de patio, se desmontará las divisorias de mamparas de vidrio. Se actuará también en la fachada de patio interior, se realizará un tratamiento para suelos de mármol, y el resto ejecución de suelo de microcemento en otras salas.
