El PSOE de Almería llama a la colaboración institucional para ejecutar proyectos de sensibilización en igualdad y para ayudar a víctimas y familias
La diputada provincial y secretaria de Política Municipal del PSOE de Almería, Noemí Cruz, ha llamado a la colaboración institucional para ejecutar proyectos de sensibilización en igualdad y de lucha contra la violencia de género, así como mecanismos para ayudar a las mujeres víctimas y a sus familias, y ha lamentado la gestión que realiza el PP allí donde gobierna. “El PP no ve otra cosa que la foto y el postureo y no tiene ni una sola política útil en materia de violencia de género”, ha trasladado en declaraciones a los medios en el marco de los actos por el 25N en compañía de la portavoz del PSOE en el Ayuntamiento de Almería, Adriana Valverde, y de alcaldesas y portavoces socialistas de la provincia.

En este sentido, ha recriminado al Gobierno de Juanma Moreno que a punto de cerrar el ejercicio de 2023 sólo haya invertido el 36% del presupuesto que se iba a destinar a la lucha contra la violencia de género, lo que se traduce en 21 millones de euros que se han dejado de invertir en acciones concretas en Almería y el resto de Andalucía. Además, ha afeado al PP que no haya invertido ninguno de los cerca de 10 millones de euros que el Gobierno de España ha trasferido a Andalucía para la creación de centros 24 horas de atención integral para víctimas de violencia sexual y ha destacado que Almería “por supuesto” ha pedido una prórroga y no lo ha puesto en marcha, por tanto, en tiempo y forma.
“Para esto parece que no tiene tiempo el PP: para invertir el presupuesto destinado a la lucha contra la violencia de género ni para poner en marcha estos centros, sólo les mueve la foto y la pancarta”, ha insistido Noemí Cruz, quien ha recordado que en Andalucía han sido asesinadas ya 38 mujeres desde que se tienen registros de estos crímenes.

Otro ejemplo del poco valor que tiene para el PP la defensa de la lucha contra la violencia machista es que se ha “abrazado” a la ultra derecha en cerca de 150 ayuntamientos para gobernar conjuntamente, entre ellos Níjar, Garrucha o Chercos. “El PP está gobernando con quienes niegan la existencia de este tipo de violencia” y es porque, según Noemí Cruz, su “ideario coincide”. Sin embargo, ha añadido, “aunque no necesite a la ultra derecha para gobernar el PP tampoco pone en marcha medidas contra la violencia de género en muchos sitios” y ha puesto el ejemplo “evidente” de Roquetas de Mar donde su alcalde aún no solicitado la integración de su municipio –el segundo en población en Almería- en el programa nacional Viogén de protección a las mujeres víctimas, pese a los numerosos requerimientos de la oposición y sociedad roquetera.

En la actualidad, al menos hasta junio de este año según los datos consultados por Noticias de Almería, hay 28 municipios en la provincia que están adscritos al sistema Viogén, entre ellos, Roquetas de Mar, como ha confirmado a este medio el propio Ayuntamiento, si bien hay una negociación abierta por discrepancias sobre competencias y no está activo, pero integrado está y firmado también desde 2014.

En este sentido, Adriana Valverde se ha referido a las manifestaciones del presentador de un programa de tertulia en la televisión pública municipal en las que negaba la existencia de la violencia de género. “Estas manifestaciones vertidas en una televisión púbica pagada por todos los almerienses minimizan y banalizan el grave problema que representa la violencia de género en nuestra sociedad, esto dicho por el Consejo Audiovisual de Andalucía”, ha sostenido.

Además, ha recordado que a principios de año “conocimos el caso de un mando de la Policía Local de Almería que había sido juzgado por un presunto delito de malos tratos, y desde el equipo de Gobierno del PP no se adoptó ningún tipo de medida para apartar temporalmente a este señor, que posteriormente fue condenado, de sus responsabilidades”. Al contrario, ha dicho, “después de haber sido juzgado se le premió nombrándolo miembro de un tribunal de oposiciones para Policía Local”.
Por estos y otros motivos, el PSOE de la capital ha denunciado “la hipocresía de la alcaldesa, que está protegiendo a quien realiza estas declaraciones y actuaciones mientras, por otro lado, organiza actividades para sensibilizar y educar en igualdad”.
