Los nuevos agentes de Policía Local tendrán que tener la nacionalidad española, ser mayores de edad, y contar con una estatura mínima de 1,65 centímetros (hombres) y de 1,60 centímetros (mujeres). Igualmente, han de prestar compromiso de portar armas, estar en posesión de título de Bachiller, Técnico o equivalente, y acreditar no haber sufrido separación del servicio de la Administración pública, ni inhabilitación, ni antecedentes penales por robos dolosos.

Refuerzo de la seguridad
Como ha explicado el alcalde de Níjar, José Francisco Garrido, se trata de “un nuevo refuerzo de la plantilla de nuestra policía que supone otro avance más en materia de seguridad, que es una de nuestras banderas desde que ejercemos como gobierno local”. No en vano, cabe recordar que el pasado 5 de enero, ya tomaron posesión otros dos nuevos agentes de Policía Local en Níjar.
