La delegada territorial en Almería de la Consejería de Justicia, Administración Local y Función Pública, Rebeca Gómez y el delegado territorial de Inclusión Social, Juventud, Familias e Igualdad, Francisco Bellido, han celebrado una mesa de trabajo con los responsables de los Centros de Servicios Sociales Comunitarios de la Diputación Provincial y del Ayuntamiento de Almería para pedir su colaboración en la promoción de la mediación, una vía alternativa para la resolución de conflictos que la Junta de Andalucía está impulsando para reducir la excesiva litigiosidad que sobrecarga los juzgados.
Gómez ha destacado “las ventajas que la mediación ofrece a los usuarios de los centros de servicios sociales, promoviendo un enfoque más ágil y humanizado para la resolución de conflictos”. Por ello, ha instado a los profesionales de estos servicios a orientar a los usuarios de los mismos hacia esta fórmula.

Asimismo, Gómez ha incidido en “la apuesta del gobierno de Juanma Moreno por la mediación, que representa un avance significativo en la agilización de los procesos judiciales, aliviando la carga sobre un sistema judicial congestionado”. Además, “es una fórmula que ahorra tiempo y costes y suele ser muy satisfactoria para las partes ya que se basa en el acuerdo entre ambas mientras que en la vía judicial es un tercero quien decide”.

Ha explicado que la Consejería de Justicia cuenta con Puntos de Información para la Mediación en Andalucía (PIMA), que en el caso de Almería está ubicado estratégicamente en la Ciudad de la Justicia de la capital. La delegada ha recordado que la Consejería de Justicia, Administración Local y Función Pública Gómez “ha dado un paso muy importante en esta apuesta por la mediación, al haberla incluido de forma pionera dentro del sistema de Justicia Gratuita”. Así, desde el 1 de enero, cualquier ciudadano sin recursos económicos puede solicitar un abogado de oficio para que le asista en procesos de mediación y los profesionales que presten este servicio recibirán una compensación económica de hasta 400 euros si logran un acuerdo.

“Andalucía es la primera Comunidad Autónoma que incluye la mediación en el sistema de Justicia Gratuita”; ha destacado Gómez, quien ha explicado que esta medida forma parte de una Estrategia de la Consejería para impulsar la resolución extrajudicial de conflictos como la creación de un registro andaluz de mediadores o un servicio público de mediación intrajudicial para adultos, algo que ya existe para menores infractores con gran éxito.
