La Secretaría de Estado de Memoria Demmocrática a cuyo frente está el almeriense Fernando Martínez, ha falseado las fotos que ilustran su campaña con motivo del 8M Día Internacional de la Mujer, según ha publicado el periodista Jose Fernández en su perfil de la red social X.

Tal y como puede observarse en la imagen, hay unas fotografías en blanco y negro de unas mujeres que están siendo rapadas y que sufren abusos físicos por parte de otras personas, sugiriendo que sería algún tipo de represalia de los vencedores de la Guerra Civil contra ellas por ser de izquierdas. Al menos eso es lo primero que a cualquiera se le viene a la cabeza, pero no es así.
En el caso de la rapada, es posible localizar la imagen con la siguiente descripción: “Esta chica paga la pena por haber tenido relaciones personales con los alemanes. Aquí, en la zona de Montelimar, Francia, los civiles franceses le afeitan la cabeza como castigo”, y figura como propietario "Department of Defense. Department of the Army. Office of the Chief Signal Officer. (09/18/1947 – 02/28/1964)". Es decir, que ni reproduce algo ocurrido en España, sino en Francia, y además no se trata de una mujer de izquierdas humillada por la derecha, sino justo al revés.

Para la otra fotografía es posible lograr la misma información, que demuestra que ni era española, ni ocurre en España, ni son los franquistas los autores. Y aunque existen esas certezas, la realidad de quién es la niña es más complicado.
Según hemos indagado, existe una versión en la publicación actualidad.es en la que se cuenta que se trata de Giuseppina Ghersi, una niña de 13 años que por sus buenas notas recibió la felicitación del jefe del Estado italiano, el fascista Benito Mussolini. Los partisanos (comunistas italianos), consideraron que a pesar de su edad era una espía de las Brigadas Negras, por lo que la golpearon y torturaron ante sus padres hasta que murió. Esto además lo refleja un post en Facebook publicado en 2019 por Vox Nerja, por lo que no era la primera vez que Memoria Democrática utilizaba esta imagen en falso.

Esta historia, la de Giuseppina, se conoce porque en 2021 se discutió en el ayuntamiento de Noli, en Liguria, la propuesta de colocar una placa en su memoria. Pero al margen de ese conmovedor relato, la verdad es que la fotografía podría no ser de ella, ya que el 21 de diciembre de 2011, esta imagen está en internet con la leyenda "Víctima de Beria", que sería el jefe de la policía secreta de la Unión Soviética en la época de Stalin.

Ya en 2017 es identificada como Luciana Minardi, que sería voluntaria del Servicio Auxiliar de Mujeres de la Décima Flottiglia Mas, y desapareció en mayo de 1945, dándose por muerta más adelante. Y en ese mismo año, la misma imagen ya es atribuida a Giuseppina Ghersi.
