Acompañada por el concejal de Sostenibilidad Medioambiental y Energética, Antonio Urdiales, ha participado en uno de los 25 talleres que han llegado a más de 1.600 alumnos de Primaria y Secundaria. “Nos consta que la satisfacción del alumnado está siendo muy alta ya que están teniendo la oportunidad de conocer, de una manera lúdica, divertida y sencilla los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). Somos conscientes del valor que aporta a la sociedad educar, formar y concienciar a edades tempranas para formar ciudadanos solidarizados y comprometidos con los valores y objetivos que propugna la Agenda 2030", ha valorado Amalia Martín, quien ha enumerado “que los estudiantes están aprendiendo aspectos como la importancia de que las ciudades sean seguras, limpias y un buen lugar para vivir, que todos seamos tratados justamente, que la educación sea universal y de calidad, al igual que la salud, o que se protejan los océanos, los mares, los animales y los bosques”.

Los talleres han estado basados en actividades lúdico educativas, amenas y participativas tales como representaciones teatrales, musicales, cuenta cuentos o actividades artísticas que permitan al alumnado acercarse al conocimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible con el objetivo de difundir la importancia de contribuir a su consecución, fomentar entre el alumnado una cultura participativa así como conciencia0r en la importancia de su cumplimiento.
