La Institución Provincial sustituirá las conducciones entre el Sondeo Reul Bajo y el depósito del núcleo urbano para asegurar el funcionamiento de la red con una inversión de 250.000 €
La Diputación de Almería va a garantizar el suministro hídrico en Laroya gracias a las obras de renovación de la red de abastecimiento. Así lo ha confirmado el diputado provincial de Fomento, Antonio J. Rodríguez, quien ha detallado que este proyecto que se enmarca dentro del Plan de Infraestructuras Hídricas de Uso Urbano (PIHU) y va acercar una inversión de 250.000 € hasta este municipio de la comarca del Almanzora.

Antonio J. Rodríguez ha recordado que la asistencia económica que la Diputación presta a los municipios en relación al ciclo integral del agua de uso urbano tiene como objetivo fundamental y primario garantizar a la población un bien fundamental como es el agua bajo criterios de calidad, eficiencia y sostenibilidad. “Para conseguirlo impulsamos el PIHU que con esta obra alcanza la recta final con proyectos que financia, contrata y ejecuta para garantizar el Ciclo Integral del Agua”.
En este sentido, la zona donde se va a intervenir se encuentra obsoleta con las consiguientes pérdidas de agua tras 40 años de antigüedad. Tras un episodio de fuertes lluvias afectaron al trazado de la red y con este proyect se va definir y diseñar de forma general las obras necesarias para la renovación de la red de abastecimiento de agua potable de la zona rural.

Antonio Jesús Rodríguez ha resaltado que el PIHU 2021-23 está dando acceso a los municipios 3 millones financiados al 100% por la Diputación para la ejecución de actuaciones vinculadas a la mejora del Ciclo Integral del Agua en los pueblos de la provincia. “Todas ellas tienen algo en común garantizan el abastecimiento de agua, nuevos pozos y sondeos y también intervenciones en materia de saneamiento y recogida de las aguas residuales urbanas”.

En el caso de Laroya, ha resaltado la importancia de mantener a punto la red hídrica porque “la población en los periodos vacacionales se duplica e incluso triplica, con la consiguiente necesidad de agua”.
Por su parte la alcaldesa, Dolores Moreno, se ha mostrado “muy agradecida a la Diputación y al presidente por la aprobación de una obra muy necesaria para el abastecimiento de agua potable” y ha asegurado que sería “imposible de asumir por el Ayuntamiento sin esta ayuda de la Diputación”.
