El Ayuntamiento de Dalías ha anunciado que las obras de transformación del cementerio han podido llevarse a cabo gracias a la aprobación de los Planes Provinciales de la Diputación de Almería, los cuales han otorgado luz verde a la licitación de una obra de mejora y adecuación con un presupuesto que supera los 150.000 euros y será ejecutada por Fircosa.

Desde hoy, el cementerio de Dalías permanecerá cerrado al público durante aproximadamente dos meses, con el fin de garantizar la seguridad de los vecinos y visitantes durante el desarrollo de las obras. Será posible acudir los sábados de 10:00 h a 14:00 h solo en casos de necesidad, ya que la zona estará en proceso de construcción y puede representar un peligro para los transeúntes.

El proyecto de mejora abarca una serie de aspectos fundamentales para la modernización y optimización de las instalaciones del cementerio. Entre las acciones planificadas se incluye la renovación integral de la pavimentación, así como intervenciones en la red de abastecimiento, la red de riego y la red pluvial. El alcalde de Dalías, Francisco Lirola, destaca la importancia de estas mejoras que “vendrán a adecuar el cementerio municipal, proporcionando un mejor servicio a los visitantes con la ampliación de la red pluvial y de agua, así como con la renovación del pavimento, uno de los puntos críticos identificados en el proyecto, así como expandir tanto la red de aguas pluviales como la red de agua potable para la instalación de nuevos puntos de acceso al agua potable. Esta ampliación permitirá, además, la instalación de tres nuevas fuentes de agua potable, mejorando significativamente la accesibilidad y la comodidad para los visitantes”.
