En Almería, la inflación anual se sitúa en un 3,3%, un 0,1% más que en marzo, según los datos del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) adelantados por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE). Esta subida se debe principalmente a la creciente inflación de los precios del gas y la alimentación en la provincia.

Sin embargo, la tasa de variación anual estimada de la inflación subyacente, que excluye alimentos no elaborados y productos energéticos, disminuye cuatro décimas hasta el 2,9%. Si estos datos se confirman a mediados de mayo, se alcanzarían nueve meses consecutivos de bajada interanual, lo que situaría el nivel más bajo desde enero de 2022.
Carmen Vidal, de UGT Almería, destaca la importancia de las cláusulas de revisión salarial en los convenios para proteger el poder adquisitivo de la clase trabajadora. "Es necesario trasladar la buena situación económica a los incrementos retributivos de los y las trabajadoras", afirma.
