La delegada territorial de Administración local destaca la necesidad de colaborar con los ayuntamientos para afrontar daños causados por catástrofes naturales
La delegada territorial de Justicia, Administración Local y Función Pública, Rebeca Gómez, ha visitado el municipio de Oria, junto a su alcalde, Marcos Reche, donde han podido comprobar el estado de las obras de refuerzo y estabilización subvencionadas por esta Consejería, que se están acometiendo en una zona afectada por fuertes lluvias el año pasado para evitar derrumbes.

Gómez ha explicado que “la actuación consiste en la construcción de un muro de escollera con el que se evitará el derrumbe de una zona fuertemente afectada por las lluvias torrenciales durante el pasado año”.
La delegada ha podido comprobar el estado de ejecución de estas obras que se realizan con cargo a una subvención de la Consejería de Justicia, Administración Local y Función Pública correspondiente a la línea de ayudas FECLIMA dirigida a ayuntamientos para reparar infraestructuras públicas dañadas por fenómenos meteorológicos o catástrofes naturales.

Esta línea de subvenciones está destinada a reparar vías urbanas, calzadas o caminos rurales, limpiar parques y jardines, paliar daños en edificios municipales, restituir redes de suministros básicos, realizar sondeos para pozos y reformas en depuradoras o redes de saneamiento y abastecimiento de agua dañadas, así como otras tareas para restablecer servicios afectados por lluvias torrenciales, tormentas, fuertes vientos y otros fenómenos.
En 2023 recibieron estas ayudas 59 municipios andaluces, 17 de ellos de la provincia de Almería: Tahal, Beires, Suflí, Berja, Tíjola, Santa Cruz de Marchena, Senés, Sorbas, Lúcar, Paterna del Río, Tabernas, Laroya, Oria, María, Rioja, Cuevas del Almanzora y Vera. En total se destinaron 4,1 millones de euros para 65 actuaciones, de los que 1.215.678,48 euros corresponden a 19 proyectos que ejecutan municipios almerienses como Oria.

Gómez ha recordado que desde hoy está abierto el plazo para solicitar las ayudas de este año tras la publicación ayer en el BOJA de la convocatoria. Así los ayuntamientos podrán pedir las subvenciones de la línea FECLIMA hasta el 16 de junio.

Cada ayuntamiento podrá solicitar ayudas para una o varias actuaciones, por un importe total de hasta 100.000 euros. Los daños deben haberse producido por tormentas, lluvias torrenciales, inundaciones y otros fenómenos climáticos ocurridos entre el 12 de junio de 2023 y el 9 de junio de este 2024. La distribución de los fondos se realizará en régimen de concurrencia no competitiva.

Además, el Consejo de Gobierno aprobó el pasado 5 de diciembre un Decreto DANA, por el que se crea un mecanismo de cooperación económica extraordinaria con las entidades locales ante catástrofes, en el marco del Plan de Cooperación Municipal, que permita atender daños de mayor cuantía mediante la declaración de municipios afectados, debiéndose apreciar el fenómeno por el 112 que despliega las acciones previstas de declaración de la emergencia”.
