La delegada territorial de la Consejería de Fomento, Articulación del Territorio y Vivienda en Almería, Dolores Martínez, junto a la alcaldesa Gérgal, Antonia Contreras, han visitado las obras que han contado con una inversión de más de 25.000 euros para el mantenimiento en carreteras de la zona centro de la provincia realizadas por la Junta de Andalucía, acudiendo a la vía de servicio de la A-92 en Gérgal.

En una nota, la Delegación del Gobierno en Almería ha detallado que la zona centro de la provincia comprende las comarcas de Filabres-Tabernas y que el Centro de Conservación Integral está ubicado en Fiñana en el kilómetro 333 de la autovía A-92. Así, ha indicado que esta vía de servicio es "muy utilizada" por los vecinos de la localidad para evitar circular por la travesía del núcleo urbano. Además, les ha facilitado el acceso a los ensanches, usados como aparcamientos, donde desemboca este tramo de vía de servicio.

Las obras han contado con una inversión de más de 25.000 euros y han consistido en una reposición de la capa de rodadura de algunos tramos de la vía de servicio que estaban deteriorados por el paso del tiempo. Para ello se han fabricado y extendido 445 toneladas de mezcla de hormigón bituminoso en caliente tipo AC22 surf B 35/50 S, ha explicado la Junta.

Para finalizar las obras, se han pintado marcas viales con pintura acrílica en los bordes y en el eje de la vía de servicio. Esta señalización horizontal se ha aplicado en la vía de servicio de la margen izquierda y derecha de la A-92 adyacente a Gérgal, entre el enlace 360 y el paso superior del punto kilométrico 361.

Martínez ha destacado que "la conservación de una red de carreteras moderna pasa por actuaciones que no van encaminadas a reparar los daños producidos sino a evitar que lleguen a producirse". Además, ha explicado que "se actúa sobre la red mediante una conservación de carácter preventivo y evidentemente, programada en el tiempo".
En este sentido, ha añadido que se trata de impedir "actuar sólo cuando el daño ya se ha producido, dado que en ese caso la actuación tendrá un presupuesto mucho más elevado porque se estará reconstruyendo en lugar de conservando", ha concluido.
