Otra de las exposiciones renovadas por el Museo de Arte de Almería ‘Doña Pakyta’ para esta época estival es su obra invitada. Esta es, posiblemente, la más visitada de cuantas acogen sus gruesos muros. Instalada en el hall de la entrada principal y zona de paso obligada en la visita a este museo, su visión no deja indiferente a la vista de almerienses y turistas.

En concreto, la obra invitada escogida para estos meses de verano es un óleo sobre lienzo de uno de los artistas locales más reconocidos de la historia, Jesús de Perceval y del Moral. Bajo el título ‘La Coronación de Indalo’ puede contemplarse esta pintura que pertenece a la colección de la Familia Rodríguez Cano, de la vecina Granada capital.
El concejal de Turismo, Comunicaciones y Promoción de la Ciudad y responsable de la Red Municipal de Museos de Almería, Joaquín Pérez de la Blanca, ha querido animar a conocer esta obra y visitar en estos días también el Museo. “In situ’ y acompañado de su director, Juan Manuel Martín, ha recordado que “esta pintura del almeriense Perceval podrá disfrutarse hasta el 8 de septiembre, en el horario habitual de este espacio museístico”.

“Fue pintada hacia 1947 y en ella podemos ver una interesante vista de La Chanca, uno de los temas predilectos del movimiento Indaliano. También se puede ver al fondo la Alcazaba entre los restos de los torreones que formaban parte de la muralla”, ha explicado el edil sobre el contenido de esta obra. “Para el Ayuntamiento es un verdadero placer colaborar en la realización de todas estas exposiciones, de distinta temática, las cuales vienen a engrandecer y potenciar el patrimonio cultural de nuestra ciudad y a ser un reclamo en estos meses veraniegos”, finalizaba el concejal.

Por su parte, Juan Manuel Martín, ha relatado que “la obra que traemos ahora a esta etapa estival es una obra de las que podemos denominar icónicas dentro de la producción de Jesús de Perceval y de las vistas que él realizó del barrio de La Chanca”. Se trata, proseguía, “de una obra donde el indalo está muy presente ya que corona ese paisaje como si fuese una especie de bendición por parte del movimiento Indaliano del paisaje de La Chanca, un paisaje que se puso en valor por este movimiento precisamente”.

Jesús de Perceval “sería de esos artistas que empezó a pintar La Chanca muy pronto y a reivindicarla como parte del imaginario de Almería”, ha recordado Martín. Precisamente esta obra se reprodujo en el catálogo de la exposición de 1947 que llevaron a cabo los Indalianos en el Museo de Arte Moderno de Madrid.
Visitas en horario de verano
Hay que recordar que este espacio museístico se puede visitar, hasta el 10 de septiembre, en horario de verano. De martes a domingos, por la mañana, de 10:30 a 13:30 horas y de martes a sábados, por la tarde, de 18:00 a 21:00 horas.
