Un británico de 59 años ha fallecido en el Hospital de La Inmaculada de Huércal-Overa (Almería) después de sufrir una agresión presuntamente a manos de un vecino en la localidad de Zurgena (Almería). Según fuentes de la Guardia Civil, el caso ya está "esclarecido y judicializado a falta de algunos aspectos técnicos".

La agresión ocurrió sobre las 01:10 horas del pasado 12 de agosto, cuando un hombre atacó a otro con una herramienta de labranza en la barriada de El Palacés, en Zurgena. Efectivos de la Policía Local, de la Guardia Civil y sanitarios del 061 acudieron al lugar y evacuaron al hombre de 59 años al hospital de La Inmaculada.
Según fuentes próximas al caso, el británico agredido falleció este sábado en el hospital, a causa de las heridas sufridas a manos de su vecino, quien habría sido detenido inicialmente por un delito de homicidio en tentativa. La víctima paseaba con su perro por fuera de la casa del presunto agresor, de origen español, algo que no habría gustado al supuesto agresor, quien habría salido de su domicilio para atacarlo con la citada herramienta.
