Serán en torno a medio centenar de asociaciones vecinales las que participarán en esta jornada en la que, tal y como ha adelantado Bleda, se han programado diferentes actividades, exposiciones, música y una gran paella que podrán disfrutar todos los asistentes.
Proyectos de ciudad
El Ayuntamiento de Almería, como promotor de este encuentro, contará también con un espacio expositivo que servirá de escaparate para mostrar a todos los vecinos algunos de los grandes y más importantes proyectos que enfrenta hoy la ciudad. Así, Bleda ha explicado como los asistentes podrán conocer, gráficamente, proyectos como las obras de urbanización de la Plaza Vieja o la mejora paisajística del Cerro de San Cristóbal, así como otras actuaciones que están por llegar, como la remodelación del Paseo de Almería o el Sendero del Camino Viejo, proyectado como ruta urbana y patrimonial.

El Encuentro Vecinal va a ser aprovechado también para “dar a conocer acciones de mejora que actualmente se están llevando a cabo en la ciudad, como por ejemplo, la integración del contenedor marrón (orgánico), a través del Área de Sostenibilidad Medioambiental y Energética, a través de una pequeña ponencia explicativa y práctica, que lo que busca es proyectar esta iniciativa en su desarrollo por los barrios”, ha explicado Bleda.

El Encuentro se celebrará desde las 10.00 horas y hasta las 17.00 horas, aproximadamente. A primera hora se concentran, dentro del programa, actividades para los más pequeños, “con animación infantil, talleres de sostenibilidad y la colaboración de los Scouts Católicos de Almería, que desarrollarán actividades de dinamización. Sumado a ello, y con las propias asociaciones vecinales como protagonistas, se llevarán a cabo las habituales actuaciones en las que trabajan los propios vecinos, todo ello como parte de lo que es su espacio”.

Base principal de esta cita es la muestra que albergará el Palacio de Congresos “con mesas expositivas en las que, todas las asociaciones, exhibirán gran parte del trabajo desarrollado a lo largo del año en sus centros vecinales, las acciones que desarrollan y las actividades que promueven, una forma más de promocionar sus barrios”, reconocía Bleda.
La edición de este año contará además con la colaboración y participación del Club de Vehículos Antiguos de Almería, instalando en el recinto de Congresos una exposición del parque móvil de época que atesoran los propietarios que participan de este colectivo.
